The Rope Lock will accept all types of rope up to ½". Others cannot. Once the rope is secured in the Rope Lock by tightening the wing nut finger tight, it will not slip.

If more rope is needed you can splice two ropes or straps together without tying a knot. Others cannot do this. If one rope is smaller then the other, put the smaller rope on top of the larger to ensure that the eyebolt comes in contact with the smaller rope..
